Role at CASA: Debbie joined CASA in 2014 and joined the Board of Directors in 2020.
What does Debbie do for fun? Debbie enjoys going to the gym with her husband Mike, spending time with her children and grandchildren, being an active member in both the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Mayflower Society and travelling.

​Susan moved to McMinnville from Austin, Texas, where she had a long career as an administrator at the University of Texas and at non-profit organizations. In Austin, she was a CASA and a volunteer reading tutor for adults and middle schoolers. In McMinnville, she has served as a member of the city Planning Commission, and as a volunteer for SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) and Mac Habitat for Humanity. She currently volunteers as a member of the Yamhill County Citizen Review Board.

Lee grew up in the mid-Willamette Valley, moved to Portland in 2001, and has called McMinnville home since 2016. Lee serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Visit McMinnville. When not being a champion for the great town of McMinnville, Oregon, Lee spends his time gardening, exploring Oregon’s countryside, cooking, and baking with his husband and three dogs. Lee co-owns a small wine brand in Portland, OR, called Augustina Cellars. He serves on the Edible Landscapes of Yamhill County Board of Directors, volunteers as a Yamhill County Court Appointed Special Advocate, and lends his creative talents to multiple other community-oriented organizations.

Previous Job: IT Project Manager for ExxonMobil (retired) 
Role at CASA: Sarah joined CASA in 2008 as a volunteer advocate. She then served for three years as the CASA Executive Director. After retiring from that role she has continued to serve Yamhill County as an advocate, a Peer Mentor, and on the board helping out where ever she is needed. She is currently the board chair.
What does Sarah do for fun? Sarah enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren, knitting, reading and making a difference.

​Sarah is a retired IT Project Manager for ExxonMobil. She joined CASA in 2008 as a volunteer advocate, served 3 years as CASA Executive Director, and after retiring as Executive Director continued to serve kids of Yamhill County as an advocate, a Peer Mentor for CASA, and on the board helping where needed.  Sarah has eight grandchildren, loves kids, knitting, reading, and making a difference.

Brent has been a member of SEDCOR, the Salem Chamber and has volunteered with Salem Leadership Foundation Community Homeless Connect Project. He is active with anything outdoors with his family, hiking, fishing, or just enjoying Oregon’s lakes & rivers.

Arianna has recently joined the Yamhill County CASA Board! We are so excited to have her at the table. Arianna has been a CASA volunteer for about a year. Her bio will be available soon!

Kayla has a degree in Criminal Justice and has spent her career within the field of child abuse intervention. Previously a Crime Victim Advocate and also a Caseworker with the Oregon Department of Human Services, Kayla now works as a Forensic Interviewer for Juliette's House in McMinnville, Oregon. Kayla has seen firsthand the impact a CASA can have in the life of a child. She is honored to be serving on the CASA board. In her free time Kayla enjoys going on day trips with her family,
reading, and trying new recipes.

Arianna, a Teach For America alum with a degree in Advertising and an MBA, brings a strong background in organizational excellence and passion for equity. She currently works in medical device sales, supporting local hospitals with life-saving equipment. As a Yamhill County CASA volunteer, she has witnessed the profound impact a dedicated advocate can have in a child’s life and is honored to serve on the CASA Board of Directors. Outside of work and volunteering, Arianna loves exploring the outdoor beauty of the PNW with her family.
